Tvangeste - Damnation of Regiomontum

Artist: Tvangeste
Album: Damnation of Regiomontum
Genre: Symphonic Black Metal
Origin: Russia
Year: 2000

The word 'epic' gets thrown around way too much when it comes to metal music. But if I was ever going to use it to describe black metal, it would be for the first track of this album, "From Nameless Oracle". The song is 13 minutes of feeling like you're taking part in some ancient mythology. The drums are programmed on this album, not the real deal, but they are programmed rather well and it never feels out of place with the music.

Sure, I'll try to do that! I wish all good music was Leftist, or at least not insane like these fellows. But sometimes I just have to ignore the message (which is easy enough with black metal).
